Founder Profile:

Subhra Das is the Founder and CEO of Groovon. A Harvard Business School alumnus, he brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling mobile telecommunications networks and digital businesses from greenfield to multi-billion-dollar scale across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India, having served in both CEO and Chief Marketing Officer roles. He is also a published author on AI and holds multiple patent-pending works.

A lifelong musician who completed a master’s certificate in guitar at Berklee College of Music in Boston (online), Subhra has played in local bands and performed at venues throughout his career, including at the Dubai International Jazz Festival. Through those experiences, he saw first-hand both the financial struggles many working musicians face and the unmatched power of live music to build community and connection. These experiences led him to found Groovon, with a vision for a future where artists benefit from fairer discovery, fairer reach and fairer pay, driven by a new music fan economy.
